Fellowships

Arts and Communications Fellowship –Deadline is April 4

The Career Center will be giving out several small awards to help make it possible for students to do summer internships in the arts and/or communications.

Examples of the fields that would fit the requirements for this fellowship are internships in advertising, marketing, writing for a magazine or newspaper, theatre, film, tv, art or history museum.

Applications will be available on the Career Center website on Monday, March17. All current Amherst College students are eligible to apply.

Beginning summer 2008, Amherst College’s Center for Community Engagement will be administering summer funding for public service internships. Details will be posted in mid February.

THERE WILL BE AN INFORMATION SESSION TO HELP STUDENTS UNDERSTAND WHAT THEIR OPTIONS ARE FOR FUNDING SUMMER INTERNSHIPS ON FEBRUARY 12 AT 5 P.M. AT THE CAREER CENTER.

The Career Center will be administering some summer funds for internships related to the arts and communications. More details and an application will be posted here in mid-February. Please check back.

Direct-Apply Fellowships, Other Fellowship/Scholarship/Grant Opportunities
   The Career Center offers a number of resources for researching Direct-Apply
   Fellowships (fellowships without nomination processes, for which one can    apply directly to a foundation) and other fellowship/scholarship opportunities.
