No More Paper Aid Award Letters; Check Your Financial Aid Application Status and Review Aid Awards On-Line

Beginning in 2008-09, paper financial aid award letters and notices about incomplete applications will no longer be mailed to current or matriculating new students, and signed award letters will no longer be required.

The College has recently implemented NetPartner software that permits students and applicants for admission to check the status of their financial aid applications on-line. Financial aid awards for admitted and current students may also be reviewed on-line.

These records may be accessed at the secure website https://fadata.amherst.edu/NetPartnerStudent by entering your Amherst user name and password.

Messages about financial aid may also be communicated to you via your CMS portal.

Amherst College will replace initially packaged, need-based student loans with grant assistance beginning in 2008-2009.

This change represents a major financial commitment on the part of the college and is expected to benefit middle income families applying to Amherst. More details are available here.
