Amherst College will notify two television stations, WGGB TV 40 and WWLP TV 22, and three radio stations, WFCR FM 88.5, WHYN FM 93.1/AM 560 and WPKX FM 97.9, in the event of closure. Closure decisions will be made in time for broadcast announcements by 6:30 a.m. on the day of a storm.

Faculty wishing to announce cancellation of classes may submit announcements to the Campus Intranet (use your Amherst e-mail username and password to log in).
