Services and Staff
The Amherst College Library is committed to high quality service to students, faculty, staff, and community patrons. The Reference Department supports research and helps patrons use information sources within and outside the Library. Each academic department also has a library liaison who is a contact point within the library. Borrowing privileges (for all types of materials) are listed by user group. There are also special privileges for seniors writing theses.
The library is also committed to making the collections as accessible as possible for patrons with disabilities.
