Playbill Arts: Classical music, opera, dance, jazz. Current schedules, news, interviews, tickets, etc.
CurtainUp: An Internet theater magazine of reviews, features and annotated listings (current listings and reviews).
Dance Insider Online: News and controversies from the world of professional dance. Includes a searchable section with "flash" reviews, ballet and modern dance images, video clips, etc.
AllAboutOpera.com: A website that cliams to be the "gateway to opera on the web." Good for quick summaries of operas, opera scores online, current schedules, opera gifts, and any other opera-related thing or information you can imagine.
Access to Scholarship about Theater, Music, & Dance
Five College Library Catalog: All the books owned by the Five College
libraries listed. Use subject keywords"stage" and "history" with a major playwright to find productions of his/her plays over time.
World Shakespeare Bibliography Online: Browse this database for production histories and then choose the play. So many articles and books about Shakespeare that you will get dizzy.
International Index to Music Periodicals: Scholarly and specialized journals for the study of music. Some reviews listed too.
Don't forget that the general databases that index reviews often list contents of scholarly journals.
