Five College Library Catalog: New catalog to all books, music, video, online resources, etc., in Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke, and Smith libraries. Do an "author keywords" or "author (last name first)" for books by a writer; search the writer's name as "subject keywords" for books about the writer.
WorldCat: Search for books in a database made up of catalogs from thousands of libraries.
MLA International Bibliography: Most important American index to critical studies about all literatures. References to scholarly articles about literature, film, linguistics, and more published since 1963. Use ACLinks to find online articles or catalog searches for the journals in print.
HAPI Online (Hispanic American Periodicals Index Online): Reference to articles about Central and South America, Mexico, the Caribbean basin, and Hispanics/Latinos in the United States. Covers politcs, economics, social issues, history, etc., as well as literature.
ClasePeriódica: Index of Latin American journals in the arts and humanities.
Expanded Academic ASAP and Academic Search Premier: Indexes to articles in many disciplines. Some references back to 1975. Book reviews as well as critical articles. Beware! English articles only.

Enciclopedia universal en español : Complete Spanish language encyclopedia from Britannica and Diorki, SA. Also includes a Spanish dictionary and a Spanish-English dictionary.
Dictionaries and other help with language from the the Real Academia Española. The best choice for a large Spanish-Spanish dictionary.
Diccionarios from El Mundo. Definitions, syonyms, antonyms, etc.
The Concise Oxford Spanish Dictionary (English-Spanish) and The Concise Oxford Spanish Dictionary (Spanish-English) : Handy, small dictionaries online from Oxford University Press.

Browse the Reference Collection on the first floor of Frost Library for handbooks and encyclopedias about Spanish and Spanish American history, culture, and literature. Books ar arranged alphabetically by "classification". So handbooks and encyclopedias about Spanish history and cultrue are shelved DP 17 -- DP 302; Latin American history and civilzation from F 1204 -- F 3708. Reference books about Spanish and Spanish American literature are PQ 6006 -- PQ 8531.
