present)
Includes nearly two million bibliographic references to journal articles
and books. Over 2,700 journals are indexed and some 7,000 books included
each year. Abstracts are provided for half of all current journal articles
and full text availability is increasing. Particularly strong in political
science, sociology, anthropology, gender studies, law and economics.

This index builds on the merged backfiles of Political Science Abstracts,
1975-2000, and ABC POL SCI, 1984-2000. The database provides citations,
abstracts, and indexing of the international serials literature in political
science and its complementary fields. As of January 2002, over 1100
titles are being monitored.
