Lockers on Level 3 - Robert Frost Library
The Library makes lockers freely available to the students, faculty and staff of Amherst College on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lockers are approximately 16.5" wide x 14.5" high x 11" deep and they may be found in the following locations in Robert Frost Library:
- Level 3 - the southwest corner
- Level 2 - the southwest corner
- Level B - the west wall, near the elevator
All library materials that are stored in lockers must be charged out to the person who has signed for the locker. Because journals and newspapers in the library collections do not circulate, these items should not be stored in lockers.
Also, please do not leave food or beverages in your locker. You can't imagine the amount of trouble that can result from a week-old apple or slice of pizza.
Lockers are cleared at the end of each Spring semester and patrons must remove all materials from their locker by that time.
To learn more or to sign up for a locker and to receive the lock combination, please see the staff at the Circulation Desk in Access Services (on Level 1 - the main floor of the Library) during regular business hours.
For the safety of our patrons and to ensure the protection of the collection, the Library reserves the right to access and inspect any of its lockers at any time.
Neither the Library nor the College assumes any liability for any theft or damage to items left in the storage lockers.
