2005-06 Amherst Men's Hockey Milestones
TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Finished with a 12-12-1 overall record (9-9-1 ECAC East/NESCAC),
qualifying for the sixth seed in the eight-team NESCAC Postseason
Championship Tournament, where they fell at third-seeded Bowdoin College,
5-1, in the quarterfinals.
- Won The Spurrier Tournament at Wesleyan University, topping NESCAC rival Conn. College in the opening round and taking down the tournament-host Cardinals in the championship game.
- Finished tied for first in the NESCAC in combined special teams (54.5%), third in penalty kill percentage (83.8%)
and fifth in power play percentage (20.3%).

- Tied for 15th in the NESCAC in defenseman scoring (15 pts).
First-year Defender Rylan Burns (Mill Bay, British Columbia)
- NESCAC Player of the Week for November 28, after leading the Jeffs to the Spurrier Tournament Championship.
- Tied for eighth in the NESCAC in first-year scoring (15), finished 14th in defenseman scoring (15) and 17th in power-play points.
