Jeffs Remain Undefeated with 2-1 Win at Roger Williams September 11, 2005 Roger Williams took a 1-0 lead in the first half as junior Ryan Wohlstrom (Guilford, CT) scored on a breakaway. Downs knotted the score with just over 15 minutes left in regulation, converting a corner kick from classmate Jonathan Pryor (Roslyn, NY). Lynch scored the game-winner in highlight-reel fashion, bouncing a 40-yard shot off the left post and into the goal after intercepting an errant clear from Roger Williams junior goalkeeper Kevin Deegan (Seymour, CT). Amherst senior goalie Greg Lockwood (Vancouver, WA) finished with three saves as the Jeffs improved to 2-0, while Deegan grabbed nine saves as the Hawks sustained their first loss of the year, falling to 3-1-1. Amherst returns to action Saturday at 2 p.m. at NESCAC rival Bates
