Amherst Women's Cross Country Takes Third at NCAA Regionals, Qualifies for NCAA National Championships; Men Place 11th, Morrissey Advances to NationalsNovember 14, 2005 Sophomore Kim Partee (Brentwood, TN) finished only six seconds behind Garrahan to take ninth place for the Jeffs who also saw strong showings from first-year Nicole Anderson (Kailua, HI) and sophomore Heather Wilson (Danvers, MA), finishing 13 th and 19th, respectively. Rookie Caitlin McDermott-Murphy (Newton, MA), sophomore Meg Ray (Menands, NY), and first-year Zandra Walton (Skaneateles, NY) rounded out the Jeffs' finishers at 39th, 54th and 60th. In the men's race, Morrissey's showing was supported by junior Rich Wilson (Columbus, OH) and senior co-captain Dave Schreiner (Manhattan Beach, CA) who crossed the tape 48th and 51st, respectively. First-year Harrison Lakehomer (Eugene, OR) and junior Rob Boley (Mount Pleasant, MI) took 71st and 95th, while sophomore Mike Harbus (New York, NY) and junior Cooper Knowlton (Montclair, NJ) finished close behind at 104th and 135th.
