2005-06 Amherst Women's Basketball Milestones
TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Finished with a 10-15 overall record (4-5 NESCAC), earning the fifth seed in the NESCAC Postseason Championship Tournament, and fell to fourth-seeded Williams in the quarterfinals.
- Led the NESCAC in defensive rebounds (33.6/gm) and finished fourth in free-throw percentage (.692) and field goal percentage (.403). Also, ranked fifth in field goal percentage defense (37.6%), scoring defense (56.3/gm) and rebounding margin (+2.0).
INDIVIDUAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Senior Forward/Center Julie Smith (Villanova, PA)
- Led NESCAC in field goal percentage (60.7%) and finished fifth in blocked shots (1.19/gm).
- NESCAC Winter All-Academic.
- Graduates as Amherst's third all-time leading shot blocker (130).
Senior Forward/Center Katie Latham (Wakefield, MA)
- Finished seventh in the NESCAC in defensive rebounds (4.62/gm) and 17th in rebounding (5.8/gm).
- NESCAC Winter All-Academic.
- Graduates as Amherst's fourth all-time leading rebounder (623).
Senior Co-Captain Guard Krissy Morin (Litchfield, NH)
- Finished eighth in the NESCAC in free throw percentage (73.3%).
- NESCAC Winter All-Academic.
- Shares Amherst's single-game record for assists (10) with Sara Bozorg '03.
- Graduates as Amherst's eighth all-time leader in assists (188).
Senior Guard Ali Flato (Piedmont, CA)
- NESCAC Winter All-Academic.
Junior Guard Jenny Muller (Andover, MA)
- Finished 26th in the NESCAC in scoring (9.1/gm). Also, 10th in three-point field goal percentage (30.7%) and three-point field goals made (1.24/gm).
Sophomore Guard/Forward Stefanie Reiff (Hinsdale, IL)
- Finished 25th in the NESCAC in scoring (9.4/gm). Also, ninth in field goal percentage (46.0%) and 10th in free throw percentage (69.0%).
