Amherst's Pruzansky Named NESCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week

AMHERST, MA - Amherst College junior midfielder Lesley Pruzansky (Saratoga, CA/Menlo School) was named the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week on Monday after tallying a goal and three assists in a trio of conference wins for the Jeffs.

Pruzansky assisted on the game-winning goal in a 3-0 victory at Connecticut College on Wednesday, followed with the opening score in Saturday's 4-1 win over Wesleyan University, and capped the week with a pair of assists in a 2-1 comeback win over visiting Middlebury College. In the midst of a breakout season, she currently leads the Jeffs with 12 points on three goals and a team-best six assists.

Amherst is 7-3-2 overall and is tied for second place in the conference standings at 5-2-1. The Jeffs wrap up their regular-season slate on Saturday at 11 a.m. at NESCAC and Little Three archrival Williams College.
