tutoring and mentoring program
Purpose
A group of students work with the Nuestras Raíces after-school youth program two afternoons a week. Tutors provide homework help and plan and implement educational activities as well as a variety of types of workshops. Tutors also discuss the larger educational and social issues that surround their work in Holyoke, in order to be better prepared to work with youth.
