Jobs and Internships

Yes, we know that most of the companies that recruit at Amherst aren't tech companies.
That's why we put together this page-- to help you start your search for jobs or internships in technology industries.
  • Amherst College Career Center- Use Career Office Online to find out about information sessions and interview sessions presented by companies doing on-campus recruiting. Find out about on-campus career events. Also has links to job sites.
  • ACM Career Resources- As the professional organization for people in computing, the ACM has a pretty good careers and jobs listing.
  • Job listing/Resume posting sites- There are a ton of these out there, especially for tech jobs. Some sites list internships as well.
  • Individual companies- Not all companies list on general websites. This is an incomplete list of some companies you might consider.
  • REUs- Research opportunities at Universities, etc.
  • Student Reviews and Advice- What have other Amherst students done in the past? Plus tips for finding and getting the most out of your experience. (coming soon)
