Amherst College OneCard Services

A prepaid cash account that allows students to use their ID card to purchase food at a discounted rate from the Campus Center and Underground Bakery, and guest meals at the Main Dining Hall. The money can also be used at selected vending and laundry machines. The account operates on a declining balance system. AC DOLLAR$ may be used at any time, at any of our locations, as a convenient payment option for all students.

How do I open an AC DOLLAR$ account?

Simple! An AC DOLLAR$ account has been established for every student with a valid photo ID card. The account is activated when money is deposited into your account. To deposit money into your account simply fill out a deposit form and bring it to a deposit location.

Where can I make a deposit to my AC DOLLAR$ account?

• AC OneCard ID Office - Located in Valentine Dining Hall Lower level.
• AC OneCard Services - Located in Seeley Mudd 105 or 114.
• Comptrollers Office - Located on the second floor of College Hall.Money may be deposited at any time.

What is the "Check by Phone" service?

This is a new service offered by the College that allows anyone with a checking account to deposit money into your AC DOLLAR$ account over the phone! Just call 1-866 654-2439 and follow the voice prompts. More info?

Is there a charge to use an AC DOLLAR$ account?

No. The AC DOLLAR$ account is free with no finance charges or user fees. It does not earn any interest.

Who is eligible?

This offer is limited to Amherst College students only. All accounts will roll over from fall semester to spring semester and be carried over year to year until graduation or permanently leaving the College. In this case, remaining AC DOLLAR$ balances greater than $10 will be applied to your college account, and balances less than $10 will be forfeited.
