About us
Who: The Budgetary Committee (BC) is designated by the AAS Constitution to oversee the finances of the student body. The Treasurer executes the decisions of the BC and the Senate.What: The BC makes recommendation to the Senate on weekly requests for discretionary funding and on biannual club budget allocations. The Treasurer handles the day-to-day financial operation of the student body as well as the overal operating budget of the AAS.
When: Fall semester has begun, and the books will close for 2007 on the last day of the regular semester. All documents and requests must be submitted within this time.
Where: The BC meets every Thursday at 8:00PM in the basement of the Keefe Campus Center where the old Outreach office was. The Senate meets in the Cole Assembly Room (Red Room) in Converse Hall every Monday at 8:30 pm.
Checks are processed on Tuesday and mailed on Thursday. Discretionary requests are due at Wednsday at noon for the BC meeting that Thursday.
