The Amherst College Career Center assists alumni in searching for jobs, changing
careers, researching companies, networking and applying to graduate
and professional school.
On-Campus
Three professional career advisors are available in person and by phone appointment
to discuss a wide range of career or graduate school related issues. Please
contact us and we would be happy to schedule an appointment for you.
ReadyMinds Distance Counseling
The Career Center has identified a fee-based distance career counseling program
called ReadyMinds.
This is a separate service from those offered by the Amherst Career Center.
We believe ReadyMinds may be of value to alumni far from the College, for example,
or who wish to conduct career planning activities from home with greater flexibility.

highlights some of the most comprehensive websites dedicated to all of the
stages of the job search. Applicants to graduate school will also find many
links related to the application process ranging from financial aid and fellowships,
to writing a personal statement.
