is a personalized, distance career counseling service. This
professionally structured program offers a convenient, effective
and productive way to jump-start a new career, support a career
change, or improve your existing job setting.
ReadyMinds
is an independent service separate from the Amherst College
Career Center. As such, Amherst College staff does not provide
this service and all terms, conditions, privacy policies, and
codes of ethics are the responsibility of ReadyMinds.

Personalized,
objective, confidential career counseling--when and where
it is convenient for you.

Online
assessments that will assist you in defining values, skills
and interests as they relate to your career plans.

minutes of tele-counseling, inclusive of resume review,
interviewing skills and techniques to assist you in navigating
through the overwhelming information available on careers
and job-searching.

Interactive
relationship with a National Certified Counselor, trained
to address your individual career needs. Counselors devote
a minimum of four hours of research and preparation for
each client.

Access
to your assigned counselor for a one-year period during which
emails can be exchanged and appropriate questions can be addressed.

A
four-page written summary of the counseling sessions along
with a career action plan called ‘Insight Into U™'
Price:
The Amherst Career Center has negotiated with
ReadyMinds to offer a discount to Amherst alumni. The
fee for Amherst College alumni is $374/year, a $125
reduction off the regular fee of $499/year.
