Self-Help: Student Employment

The usual expectation is that a student will be able to earn about $1,700 in 2008-2009 from work during the academic year.  This expectation represents about seven hours of work each week.  Job opportunities include work on campus in the College's food service, physical plant, libraries, laboratories, art gallery and studios, and academic and administrative offices.  The range of hourly wages for student employment on campus in 2008-2009 is from $7.50 to $12.00.  (Massachusetts minimum wage is set to increase to $8 on January 1, 2008.)

International students are eligible for institutional employment, but are not eligible for employment under the Federal Work-Study Program.
