Graduate students


Natalie Feliciano is a University of Massachusetts (UMass) Plant Biology Graduate Program rotation student.  Natalie worked during Fall '05 with several species of African Lycium to isolate the pistil gene (S-RNase) that controls self-incompatibility.

  Sydne Record is also a University of Massachusetts Plant Biology graduate student rotating through the lab this Spring ('06).  Sydne is exploring the use of chloroplast SSRs to investigate the phylogeography of Lycium californicum in the southwestern US and Mexico.
