Thanks again to Thomas Michie, the Amherst College Archives and Special Collections has several images of members of the Esty-Tuckerman family, circa 1885-1900. All four of Professor William Cole Esty’s sons attended Amherst (as did Professor Esty himself, Class of 1860), so a number of the images have direct connection with Amherst events such as graduation or class activities. We include a selection of them here, along with a photograph of the Tuckerman house from the Archives and Special Collections Buildings and Grounds Collection.
