Keefe Science Library

The Keefe Science Library, located in the Merrill Science building, provides access to core information resources for students, faculty and scholars in Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Neuroscience, Physics and Psychology. The Library contains monographs, recent periodicals and electronic resources in support of the above disciplines.

The Five College Library Catalog provides holdings and call numbers for these materials and designates the Keefe Science Library as AC Science Library. Additional resources may be found in the Frost Library and older materials in the Depository.

 Monday - Thursday  9:00am - 1:00am
 Friday  9:00am - 10:00pm
 Saturday  10:00am - 7:00pm
 Sunday  11:00am - 1:00am

Services

All students, faculty and staff of the five colleges may borrow circulating items from the Keefe Science Library. A valid ID is needed to check out books. Books are checked out for four weeks and may be renewed via the online catalog or in person.

Materials placed on reserve by science faculty might be found at the Reserve Desk of the Frost Library or Keefe Science Library. Check the online catalog for the location.

Materials that are in the Depository can be requested by clicking here. Books will arrive on weekdays within 24 hours from time of request at the Circulation desk in the Frost Library. Journal articles will be sent directly to your campus mailbox.

Reference Hours

The Science Librarian is available during the following hours at the Frost Library Reference Desk or by appointment in the Science Library. She can also be contacted via e-mail (sjkimball) or phone (x8112).
