and video for Amherst College courses on Reserve in libraries or online.
- Purchase Request: For Reserve, choose "Reserves" under "Faster Service ".
- Research Education/Library Instruction: Invite a librarian or archivist to introduce your class to library catalogs, specialized databases and indexes, rare and archival materials, sophisticated searching of the World Wide Web, and more. Instruction can take place in the computer-equipped Lane Room on level A of Frost Library, in other sections of the libraries, or in your own classroom. For students with major research projects, librarians also make individual research appointments. - Video and Other Media for Classrooms: The Library maintains an extensive VHS and DVD collection to support courses.
