Indexes

Chemical Abstracts (1907-present) Access to the literature of chemistry. Via SciFinder Scholar (AC only). Available from public computers in Keefe Science Library and Frost Library. Try the SciFinder How-To Guides

PubMed (1966–Present) The National Library of Medicine's index to biomedical literature. PubMed covers much of the biochemical literature available.

Web of Science (on campus only) (1984-present) Online version of Science Citation Index, an interdisciplinary database to journal articles in the sciences. Tracks cited references to locate more recent articles. For cited reference searching for older articles, please contact us.

INSPEC (1969–present) Indexes publications in all areas of physics, astronomy, engineering and computer sciences. Available on campus via EBSCO. Older print editions are in the Keefe Reference Collection under the title Physics Abstracts (QC1 .P46). Although primarily for physics and computer science literature, it is an excellent source for physical chemistry publications.
