American Periodicals Series online, 1740-1900
Digitized reproductions of more than 1,100 eighteenth and nineteenth century
newspapers and periodicals from American periodical series, I, II, and
III. When completed in 2003, this database will have more than 7,000,000
pages of fulltext periodicals.

netLibrary An online library consisting of a broad range of reference, scholarly and professional works. Full text searching is available. Books can be downloaded for a limited time period, or printed out one page at a time.

Alt Press Watch Fulltext database of about 90 newspapers, magazines and journals of the alternative and independent press, from 1995 to present.

organizations) from the African continent. Government and opposition-controlled

ScienceDirect Collection of more than 500 electronic journals in all science disciplines and some social sciences. Full text coverage goes back to 1995 for most titles.
BioOne Collection of full text life sciences journals covering botany, ecology, and zoology. Coverage begins primarily in 2000.
ACS Publications:Journals & Magazines Recent issues of all journals published by the American Chemical Society online.
Institute of Physics (IOP) Journal Archive Full text archive of 57 IOP journals. Coverage includes 1874 to 1992 for all titles (with additional year being added every year) and from 1874 up to current issues for journals to which AC already subscribes.

Early American Imprints Full-image of books, pamphlets and other works published in the Colonies and the U.S., 1639 to 1800.
EEBO Online Database under construction. It will contain the full-text of over 125,000 titles listed in Pollard & Redgrave's Short-Title Catalogue (1475-1640), Wing's Short-Title Catalogue (1641-1700), and the Thomason Tracts (1640-1661).
U.S. Congressional Serial Set Eventually will include all House and Senate documents, journals, and reports from the 19th century.
