for seniors Instructions for Submitting Senior Portraits to the 2007 Olio: If you have already had a Light Studio senior portrait, that picture will automatically be in the Olio, and you do not need to take any further action. Some seniors may choose to submit their own senior portrait instead of having Light Studios take their portrait.  The last possible submission date for senior portraits is February 15th.  In order to submit, e-mail your portrait in JPEG file format and approximately 3:2 vertical: horizontal proportions to Mark Yarchoan (myarchoan@amherst.edu).  Please send only 1 picture and keep the file size under 5 mb.  IMPORTANT: Name the file your own name.  So if your name is John W. Smith, the filename should be: John W. Smith.jpg.  The filename determines how the picture will be labeled in the book.  If you have other pictures or articles that you would like to submit to the Olio, please e-mail them to Mark Yarchoan (myarchoan@amherst.edu). If the combined size of the files exceeds 5 megabytes, please instead burn the files to a CD and mail them to AC #1360, or put them on the scratch drive and e-mail promptly about their folder location as the drive is frequently erased.
