BC Invite 10/14/00

It was a beautiful day for sailing.  The breeze was steady all day, bulding to
about 15 in the afternoon.  6 races in each division.  14 teams.

These are the correct scores.  Due to a mix-up in the rotation and some
carelessness in transferrring information, the scores were a little
mixed up.  The scores have all been rechecked and are now accurate.
These are the correct scores, totals, and places.  Sorry for the
confusion.

AMHERST HIGHLIGHTS:
A division: Jason Blynn '04/Robin Goldman '03
B division: Graham Dumas '04/Lindsay Clarke '03

Heading into the last set, Batman and Robin led Williams, but the gusty wind finally 
caught up to the A team, capsizing them several times in the last set, allowing Williams 
to catch up.  Still, the team sailed well, finishing 5th in race 2A.  In the B fleet, 
Lindsay Clarke finally found some time to get away from her books and the crew shells 
to come and sail with us, while freshman skipper Graham Dumas gained more regatta experience
that will prove valuable later this fall.
