Plan:

There will be a number of events sponsored by SFFC during Interterm. If you're going to be here during that time and want to recieve news as more events are planned, email Matt

  • First, we're thinking about having two small group trial runs of a game variously called Killing as an Organized Sport (KAOS), Assassin, and Gotcha. The object of the game is simple: at the beginning of the time period (probably about a week), you are given the name of another participant as your target. It is your mission to hunt down that target over the course of the week and "kill" him or her using a nerf ball as a weapon. There are restrictions on where and when you can get to your target. For example, people are safe in their rooms, the shower, and the dining hall. Also, there cannot be witnesses within a certain radius. Once you "kill" someone, you take on their target. However, each participant is someone else's target, so you will the hunted as well as the hunter. If this sounds like something you'd like to participate in, send an email to that effect to Matt Dougherty

  • Second, Nathaniel Reden is running a course over Interterm to teach Quenya, which is one of the dialects of Elvish invented by JRR Tolkien.

  • Finally, Matt will be running a roleplaying miniseries using the Deadlands wild western horror game. Email for the complete information.

There has been another change of leadership. Would all the minions - ahem, members - give a big round of applause to Matt Dougherty '08, our new co-head. To recap:
