AMHERST, Massachusetts -- Competing in the NESCAC Championship this past weekend at Williams, Amherst claimed a first-place finish and three of the five members of the All-NESCAC Team. All five Lord Jeff golfers placed in the top-25 of the tournament for a 621 composite score.
Senior Co-Captain Erik Hardenbergh (Wayland, MA)led all golfers by scoring a 74 on Day 1 and following up with a 75 for a 149 top score. Fellow Captain David Fiorentino (Winchester, MA) was close behind with a two-day total of 156, while sophomore Joe Graceffa (Augusta, ME) rounded out the All-Leaguers with a 157, tied for 4th place.
Ryan Szczepanik (Kensington, CT) tied at 9th place just two strokes behind Graceffa while rookie Bob Lutzker (Washington, DC) debuted in the league with a 169 for 21st place.
