The Amherst women's relay teams broke two pool records and made a B-cut for Nationals as both the Amherst men's and women's teams defeated Hamilton College. The 4 x 100 medley relay team of Kerry Weeks, Sarah Lukaska, Denny Soto and Sarah Moran clocked a 4:08.13, almost two seconds faster than the four year old pool record. Weeks, Moran and Lukaska then teamed up with Sondra Fein in the 4 x 100 freestyle relay for a 3:40.76 performance, shattering last year's varsity record by two seconds and making a B-cut towards the National Championships this March.
The Amherst men took first place in every event except the 1000 freestyle on the way to a 167-76 win. Divers Matt Smith, Joe Schneider and Dan Fernandez swept 1-2-3 on both the one and three meter boards.
