NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships - Final Results

Women's Swim Team Takes Second at NCAA Championships
March 11 - The Amherst College women's swim team in the 2007 NCAA National Runner-Up after racking up 320 points at the Division III Championships this weekend. Junior Brittany Sasser was named Swimmer of the Meet, while head coach Nick Nichols was named Coach of the Meet. Full Story.

Women's Swim Team Retains Second-Place Position After Day Two of Nationals
March 10 - The Amherst College women's swim team has racked up 250 points after two days at the national championships, trailing only Kenyon College (363 points) in the standings. The Jeffs capped the night's events with a 7:29.50 clocking in the 800-yard freestyle relay, topping Kenyon's old record of 7:33.38 set in 2004.

March 9 - The Amherst College women's swim team jumped out to a blistering pace in day one of the NCAA Championships, racking up 105 points, trailing only Kenyon College. Amherst leads a tight race for second over Calvin college (104 points) and defending champs Emory (100 points). Full Story.

February 25 - The Amherst College men's swim team took a second place finish at the 2007 NESCAC Swimming and Diving Championships held at Bowdoin College this weekend. Amherst edged out Tufts by just two points in one of the closest podium races in conference history. Full Stroy.

Women's Swimming and Diving Leads NESCAC with 37 All-Conference Honors
February 20 - The NESCAC announced today the 2006-07 Women's Swimming and Diving All-Conference Team. The top three finishers in each event at the 2007 NESCAC Women's Swimming and Diving Championship receive All-Conference recognition. Eleven members of the Amherst College squad combined for 37 All-Conference honors, makring the most top-three finishes by any school over the weekend. Full story.

January 21 - The Amherst College swimming and diving teams posted four wins this weekend at home. Both the men's and the women's teams topped Hamilton College on Saturday before beating Union College on Sunday. Full story.

Swimming and Diving Teams Split at Williams
January 6 - The Amherst College swimming and diving teams returned to action for the first time since Dec. 2. The women's team got back on the winning track pulling out a 155-143 victory over Williams College, but the men dropped their second straight meet, 156-81. Full story.

Men's Swimming Falls to Middlebury, Women Come out on Top
December 2 - The Amherst College swimming and diving teams split their meets at Middlebury College Saturday, with the women coming out on top, 162-136, and the men falling on their side, 163-135.
