Why you chose Amherst College: I liked the idea of an open curriculum. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to major in and it allowed me to try classes in many different subject areas. I also thought that it offered the balance between academics and athletics that I was looking for.
Athletic Accomplishments at Amherst: 2007 All NESCAC, 2007 national qualifier and finalist in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays
SAAC Objectives: To work toward a strong relationship between Amherst athletics and its students and faculty, as well as to encourage more school spirit at all of the athletic events happening on campus.
Outside interests: Hiking, playing Frisbee, doing activities outside and reading good books.
