Why you chose Amherst College: I wanted to attend a college with a very personal and undergraduate-centered academic experience, where I could recognize everyone on campus, and where I could become meaningfully involved in intercollegiate athletics and extracurricular activities. Amherst has exceeded my expectations in each of these areas.
Athletic Accomplishments at Amherst: NESCAC all-academic team every semester.
SAAC Objectives: Most important, we must codify a set of objective academic standards that govern each situation in which students seek to miss classes and other academic commitments in order to participate in their teams' games. Subjectivity, confusion, and arbitrary rulings must be eliminated to the degree possible.
Outside interests: New Jersey Nets, West Wing, Politics
