Why you chose Amherst College: The people that I met on my visits here, students, teachers, and coaches, impressed me with their collective sense of dedication, but it's greatest appeal was the pride they displayed in Amhest College as an institution, athletically and academically.I was impressed by the humble recognition people have here on all levels, professors, coaches, students, of the tremendous opportunity that Amherst presents to forward our education and formation not just in the classroom but in general.
Athletic Accomplishments at Amherst: Co-captain of Indoor/Outdoor Track and Field teams
SAAC Objectives: I hope to help create a body that will promote athletics as a significant component of a complete education and will, in connection, promote a healthy relationship between athletics and academics. I would also like to see increased promotion and creation of interest in a greater variation of athletic events at the college.
Outside interests: Playing guitar, reading, watching movies, recreational athletics.
