Why you chose Amherst: First of all, I wanted to go out of state and explore a new a part of the country, while at a small school with a community feeling. I found that at Amherst, the people are friendly, open, and engaging; the academics and professors are amazing; the location is great; and the cross-country team is absolutely wonderful, regardless of how fast or slow you are.
