Alert: Immigration Information & Updates
President Trump signed an Executive Order suspending entry into the United States for refugees for 120 days; nationals from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen for 90 days; and Syrian refugees indefinitely.
On February 9, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a nationwide order temporarily lifting the travel ban. Because the situation is fluid, we advise all Amherst students, faculty and staff who have immediate plans to travel outside the United States to consult with our immigration attorney. To arrange a consultation, please call the Office of General Counsel at 542-5725 or send an email to email@example.com.

It fosters innovative and critical thinking as well as strong writing and speaking skills. The liberal arts prepare students for many possible careers, meaningful lives and service to society.
