Catholic Mass: Feast of The Immaculate Conception

Holy Day Liturgy

December 8, 2012 - 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm (already occurred)
Chapin Hall, Chapel

Come to an on-campus celebration of the Roman Catholic rite. All are most welcome to participate in Mass, and hymnals and Mass guides are provided. Reconciliation is offered before Mass, in Chapin Lounge. Liturgical ministers arrive around 4:15 p.m. to prepare. On the Solemnity of The Immaculate Conception, the Church honors the immaculate conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Within the faith, Immaculate Conception is a Holy Day of Obligation, a day set apart for worship and rest from labor. (Note: the regular Sunday Mass will be offered at 5 p.m. on Dec. 9.)
