Info Session: Tabor Academy

Summer Program Staff Position

February 5, 2013 - 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm (already occurred)

Located on the beautiful seaside campus of Tabor Academy in Marion, Mass., the Tabor Academy Summer Program is entering its 94th year. Established in 1917, it is a day and residential program that gives young people ages 6 to 15 the opportunity to develop their full potential as individuals, athletes and students. With the guidance of highly qualified counselors, coaches and teachers, the program encourages young people to take pride in their personal achievements in the classroom, on the playing fields or on the waterfront.

We are looking for motivated, energetic and talented people to commit passionately to our community. From leading extracurricular activities, to teaching courses, to dealing with residential issues, we expect a great deal of initiative and creativity while on the job. The summer program is a warm and friendly place that enrolls children from all over the world, and their experience is dependent on the connections you and the rest of the staff make with them.

All of our positions require a large degree of flexibility, and a variety of tasks and jobs open up each summer that cannot always be listed in our job descriptions. You must be available to work from Sunday, June 23, to Sunday, Aug. 10, 2013. Some staff might require training the previous week.

Several positions are available.

Please feel free to visit our website at www.taboracademy.org/summer. The website will give you a complete description of the position you are interested in.
