Study and Summer Abroad to Rome
Two students' experiences
A little-known fact at Amherst is the endless range of possibilities that summer abroad programs and activities offer and the funding one can receive from the college to support them. If you are interested in a summer experience outside the U.S.-- either in addition to or instead of a semester abroad --this talk will share how two students arranged, funded and incorporated a summer academic opportunity in Rome as a meaningful complement to their time at Amherst. Both will be available to answer any questions you have about how to make it happen yourself. Join Ginny Wheeler '13 and Soo Kim '14, who will be showing slides and talking about their time abroad, at 2:30 p.m. in the Career Center.
