"Developing a Mindset for Academic Success"
Our fundamental attitudes about ourselves and our academic work have a lot to do with how we approach our studies, how we use our time, how much and why we avoid doing our work, and how anxious we feel about our performance. If you have been procrastinating a lot or struggling to get all of your work done, a change in your mindset might be in order. This workshop will offer you the opportunity to articulate to yourself your own approach to your studies and then, if necessary, work toward revising your mindset into a more productive one, one that will help you work more effectively and happily. The workshop will be led by Kristen Brookes, senior writing associate, on Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 4 to 5:15 p.m.
