"Typography Boot Camp: What I Did on My Summer Vacation"
A lecture by Ron Gordon '65
Ron studied printing and typography before starting his own Oliphant Press in 1970 and launching a long career as a graphic designer and printer. His illustrated and interactive talk will attempt to recreate not only what he taught (traditional typography and book design) but also the excitement of the class he taught last summer at the Wells College Book Arts Center.
This event is free and open to the public and part of the Friends of the Library Annual Spring Meeting. A reception will follow.
