AMHERST, Mass.— Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 15,  the Mead Art Museum at Amherst College will host a series of five informal discussions inspired by photographs from the Mead’s collection.

AMHERST, Mass.—Orra White Hitchcock (1796–1863): An Amherst Woman of Art and Science, a special exhibition that brings to light the little-known art of one of the Connecticut River Valley’s earliest female artists, will open on Friday, Jan. 28, at the Mead Art Museum of Amherst College.
