Consortium Assault Services App
The Consortium Assault Services App (CASA) is a collaborative project in the Five College Area, which includes UMass Amherst, Amherst College, Smith College, Mount Holyoke College and Hampshire College. CASA is a centralized database of resources available to help victims of sexual assault or misconduct. Resources range from professional counselors to town police across all five colleges.
How it Works
The app is for sexual assault survivors, their friends or anyone else who needs information about resources on his/her college campus. The app takes each user through a series of questions about the resources he or she is seeking, and then provides phone numbers to either call directly or save for later use.
