Center for Community Engagement

The Center for Community Engagement supports faculty and students as they put their ideas to work in the world.

Community Based Learning & COVID-19

March 20, 2020

In the current context of remote learning due to the COVID-19 situation, the CCE will continue to provide support for faculty, staff, and students who are looking to make connections inside and outside of the classroom. CCE staff are happy to connect via phone, email, Zoom, Slack, etc. We are also compiling a list of resources that we think will be helpful.

The Center offers opportunities for students and faculty members to link learning inside and outside of the classroom, tackle problems that matter, and develop skills that they can apply in other settings. The CCE supports community-based learning courses, undergraduate research, creative endeavors, and partnerships on and off campus.

Resources for Faculty

The CCE provides resources for faculty as they incorporate learning by doing into their teaching and research, intentionally linking direct experience with analysis and critical reflection.
