In pictures: Amherst at Rio+20
From June 20-22, three Amherst College students took Rio de Janeiro, Brazil by storm.
Ji An (Julian) Wang '13, Xiangyu (Shane) Zhao '14E, and Yunpeng (George) Du '14, all originally from China, organized opportunities for Chinese and American youth to collaborate on some of the world's toughest environmental issues at the Rio+20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development.
Along the way, they interviewed actvists and former presidents, met youth from all over the world, and even bumped into UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
