The Community Engagement Leaders program links learning with leadership— for a lifetime.

Students in the program work on- and off-campus as leaders and peer mentors. They explore their leadership styles, strengths, and passions through these experiences. Community Engagement Leaders continuously work to strengthen the culture of community engagement at Amherst College, and graduate as alumni with a lifelong dedication to engaged leadership.

The team of leaders work together to facilitate sustainable, mutually beneficial partnerships at Amherst College and in local communities. The three semester program is a fun, challenging, and transformative opportunity for Amherst College students to explore connections between engagement, learning, and leadership.
