6-6:45 p.m. "Hematopoietic Stem Cells: The Physician's Perspective." Talk by Curt Civin '70, Professor of Pediatrics and Physiology and Director of the Center for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Maryland’s School of Medicine.

6:45-8:15 p.m. Dinner at Lewis Sebring Dining Commons. "Politics of Stem Cell Research." Talk by Claudia Kalb '85, senior writer Newsweek magazine.
