Florence Dore is a Nashville-born, North Carolina-based independent musical artist. In June, Dore released her second album "Highways and Rocketships", produced by Don Dixon and Mitch Easter, which won the Best Americana album of 2022 at Lonesome Highway Magazine. She is currently on tour promoting new record and book, joined by the dB’s rhythm section, Gene Holder and Will Rigby, and Mark Spencer of Son Volt. Dore is also a professor of English at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

The concert precedes the CHI Salon on Wednesday, March 29 at 4:30 p.m. at the CHI Think Tank. On March 29, Florence Dore will talk about her book "The Ink in the Grooves: Conversations on Literature and Rock'n'Roll".
