The length of the gold, scaled in inches to miles, measures the distance between the former Gold Coast (Ghana) and Richmond, Virginia, the second largest port for human trafficking at the height of the Transatlantic slave trade.

The gallery is open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Sunday 12 -4 p.m., Closed Saturdays
The exhibition will close at NOON on Friday, April 13.
